We want to help people connect with one another, to create special interest groups, and to draw on each other's skills, experience and knowledge. The challenge is that these groups need to be about a topic of concern, not one specific solution to the problem, and they need to include people unlike us: the temptation is that we naturally form groups with people who are like us, and who generally agree with us about what needs to be done.
